The main mission of the Quality Assurance and Tourist Establishments Licensing Directorate is to improve the overall experience of our tourists by the development and promotion of quality in the entire tourism industry and more specifically that of infrastructure, human resources and the environment.
In relation to the above and as a result of the directions provided by the National Strategy for Tourism the Department has been reorganized into 8 sectors in order to be able to meet the new requirements and challenges:
1. Sector for Accommodation
2. Sector for Catering (Catering Establishments & Gastronomy)
3. Sector for Licensing & Control (Inspections)
4. Sector for Training, Quality Service & Safety for Tourists
5. Sector for the Treatment of disabled people
6. Sector for Marine issues
7. Sector for Sustainability
8. Agrotourism .
